I hadn’t anticipated this lovely experience when I started my hike the other day. I just really wanted to get some vigorous exercise. But on top of the mountain, doing QiGong, feeling the wind – I dropped into a state of receptivity and awareness that was stunningly beautiful. I’m discovering these amazing, mystical, visceral states of being more and more often these days.
I find that QiGong helps build a kind of exquisite sensitivity to both the body and one’s surroundings. The experience wasn’t one that was abstract or intellectual. It was a felt – a lived – experience. If this kind of thing sounds intriguing to you, I invite you to join me at the beach for QiGong. I’m starting to call it “Feel Awesome QiGong” because…that’s how it makes me feel.
