I recorded this material back in March, but hadn’t posted it because I wasn’t confident that it was concise enough, or that it said quite what I wanted to say. But I awoke this morning to a world where I felt that what I’ve got, I should offer. This perspective was never intended to be a reflection on the election. It’s meant as a rumination on deep wisdom that is sometimes difficult to digest.
Meekness doesn’t mean weakness. Just look at the folks who are protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline. Count them among the meek. And yet, they are strong.
I love the wisdom of Jesus. I also love the wisdom of Ghandi. So I’ll add a few thoughts from him:
